A traditional German hop with a mild and pleasant character. This is grown only in the Spalt region of Germany (thus the name!) and will impart a flowery, fruity, and spicy aroma. This is generally used as an aroma hop late in the boil, and will provide a distinctly hoppy character to the beer brewed!
This hop is sometimes known as German Spalt, Spaltz, or Spalter.
