New Yeast Strains in Stock

Looking for something to enhance your latest Hazy IPA? Consider one of our two new yeast strains. We now have Lallemand’s LalBrew VERDANT IPA and White Labs’ Coastal Haze Ale Yeast Blend (WLP067).

Lallemand partnered with Verdant Brewing Co. in the United Kingdom to select a yeast that works well in hop forward and malty beers. It is described as having “prominent notes of apricot and undertones of tropical fruit and citrus”. These work well with the aromas from your hop selections. It brings a medium-high attenuation and an alcohol tolerance of 10% ABV to the party. Consider it for your next New England IPA or American Pale Ale. It’s malt profile leaves a soft and a bit fuller mouthfeel that works well with British bitters and stouts.

White Labs’ WLP067 is a blend of New England-style IPA strains that combine a hazy appearance with fruit and tropical esters. With 75% to 82% Attenuation and medium to high alcohol tolerance it produces dry yet juicy beers. Mango and pineapple characteristics add to drinkability. Try it in your next Hazy IPA, Pale Ale or Blonde Ale.
