Meet Your Local Meadmaker

Mark your calendars for Saturday August 13th for an inaugural Meadmaker gathering at here at Yeastie Beastie. Plan on getting together at the store between 2 to 6 on Saturday afternoon.
We have had significant interest in new and returning meadmakers in recent weeks. This is an event intended to help locals discuss their craft. Whether you have just completed your first batch or have been producing high quality mead that is the envy of your friends for years, please join the discussion and help share your ideas. What methods work? Is there anything that you have decided to “never do again”? What resources do you know that will help others make better mead? Do you have any new fermenting ideas? Do you need a second opinion on the quality of your product? Would you like to taste someone else’s mead in order to judge your own? Our goal is to promote these kinds of discussions on all things honey and mead among those of you actually making mead.
